Sleepless in Phnom Penh

This will be quick! It’s late for me, and morning came early; 3:30 AM, with another sleepless night. But, I think I’ve turned the corner as my sort throat seems to be finally gone. Since I’m taking antibiotics I picked up some Cambodian yogurt with probiotics this morning at 4 AM at the local market down the street from my hotel. It’s open 24/7, thankfully.

The street was empty at 4:00 AM.

A peaceful drive to Bible study

About 16 church members, including five or six Hope Now Cambodia men, attended Bible study tonight at International Baptist. I met David and Olive from Singapore. They know how to rightly divide the Word of truth and are an awesome couple. Dr. Tom played the piano for our song service. He is a man of so many talents, and my personal doctor when I am here!

Tonight may be my first night of good sleep; I’m praying I don’t wake up in the night with a sore throat. The AC is off, and the antibiotics are administered. Plus I am tired. That’s a good recipe for sleep.

*Reporting on my way to bed.

  1. Oh so thankful that you are better. I live on yogurt. So glad you found some. Praising the Lord that you are feeling more healthy now! Fascinating pictures. We really enjoyed the Fresno/Clovis Prayer Breakfast this morning. David Jeremiah spoke a fantastic message on prayer. Sleep well!
