I am back in the beautiful U.S.A. We are not home yet, but will be later today. Carol picked me up at the airport last night and this morning I am up early (The Jet Lag fun begins!). I love coming down early to the lobby of the hotel where we are staying (in Valencia).

The night manager and I began to talk. I gave him a tract, and shared the free gift of everlasting life with him (John 3:16), then after we talked a while I prayed for him. He had to go take care of business, but came back shortly and told me he believed. He said, “But it is hard to know if it is true.” Isn’t that what many say at some point?

Even Jesus’s disciple, Thomas said,

“Except I shall see in His hand the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

But then, he saw Jesus and immediately believed. Jesus said to him,

“Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet believe.”

Miguel believed, but wondered. I told him to take Jesus at His word. He said he would!

Today, don’t be ashamed of the gospel. Men and women are just waiting for someone to share the good news with them. “Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only.”

  2. I praise the Lord you are home safe with your family this morning. Wonderful that the Lord saw that you were needed this morning to show this young man a better way. I’m thankful that I can be a small part of helping bring souls into the kingdom.
