We had nine deportees at our Bible study last night. I got to play music with Dr. Tom Johnson, and wife Anna. It was fun and a blessing.
One of our men has dengue fever. Please pray for him. It is debilitating and can be severe. It is caused by mosquitoes and accompanied with headaches, joint pain and rash. I have not encountered too many mosquitoes this trip. Wearing long pants and long sleeves helps!
Sunset last night was dramatic and awesome. Tomorrow we are having a mini conference with some of the men on “sin”. Saturday night a “singspiration” gathering. Sunday morning teaching in two churches, Monday discipleship and Tuesday home! Lots to do, but enjoying every minute.
Praise the Lord for this great trip and the work He is doing.
I was thinking how you, Roger are an encouragement to all of those you encounter in Cambodia. And how they encourage you as well. It is inspiring.
Reminds me of Eph 5:15 – 21
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled
with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Blessings in all that remains and praying for safe travels home
