Last month I reported on a little girl we are praying for in Cambodia. Her name is Sry Na. We discovered her while working with our medical outreach partner organization, Streams in the Desert. This week Sry Na was back in Phnom Penh for further tests to determine if the mass on her face can be removed.
Unfortunately, there appears to be a connection with the brain. Apparently there is brain matter merging with Sry Na’s nasal tumor. Dr. Tom Johnson wrote, “It is a difficult and dangerous surgery. There is also a risk of Meningitis after surgery….I am worried…I need greater faith.” (Luke 17:5).
Another complicating issue is there is incomplete frontal bone and she may need a bone graft. The bottom line as of today: The surgeon is evaluating. Dr. Tom noted, “If too difficult we must wait for “Operation Smile” or a specialist team to come.” Please pray for this little girl who is scared, but would love to have new life. Pray for our brother, Dr. Tom Johnson, to have wisdom and that Sreyna and her mom will come to believe in our Lord and Savior, the Great Healer, Jesus Christ.
